Design Brief –

Create a bold and unique kitchen for a customer who likes bright colours and shunning the ordinary.

Design Challenges –

The kitchen being replaced was very dated and didn’t work visually or in terms of storage options. Having shopped around, the customers came to the conclusion that a bespoke kitchen was going to be the only way to achieve what they were after.
However with limited space there was only so much we could do. Making use of drawers and pull-out corner hardware made the most of what was available.
Shelves made from the offcuts were added around the room to further increase storage/display space.

Finalised Design –

Although the layout came together relatively quickly the colour palette and position went through many iterations, with dozens of samples ordered and configurations modelled in CAD.
Contrasting handle backs were decided upon to add even more pops of colour.
Wall units with lighting and reeded glass doors were added either side of the extractor and a unit to hide the boiler sits in the corner

Materials -

Birch plywood doors with three different laminates Egger Curry Yellow, Flamingo pink and Turquoise Blue
Howdens base units, Blum soft close hardware throughout and a quartz worktop
